Business Administration
The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree offers students a broad preparation for a business career and lays the foundation for further study in business administration. Strong emphasis is placed on problem solving techniques that are typical in business organizations. Students learn to apply their skills and knowledge in order to solve complex problems that face business and industry in today's society.
In addition to a general degree, the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration offers concentrations in:

- Management information systems
- Marketing
- Operations management
A double major of biology and business administration is offered in conjunction with the Biology Department.
The business administration program delivers high-quality management education to a diverse undergraduate population. The program emphasizes technological proficiency, global awareness, ethical awareness and practical knowledge. Students are challenged to think strategically and develop strong analytical skills.
Students who complete this degree will:
- Develop knowledge of their major specialty, an appreciation of the interrelation of the different business areas, and broad-based current business knowledge.
- Develop competency in oral, written and interpersonal communications.
- Develop skills in analyzing and interpreting numerical data, and in reasoning and problem solving through mathematical processes.
- Be proficient in the use of spreadsheet, database and other applications of technology.
- Develop a regard for human values and the ability to make judgments based on ethical and environmental considerations.
- Recognize the multicultural aspects and international dimensions of the world in which we live.
