Online - Delivery Methodology

The UTD School of Management uses a variety of technologies to deliver its curricular materials throughout the program.

Blackboard

The Online Project Management program offers its courses using the powerful, easy-to-use enterprise course management system from Blackboard, Inc.

Conferencing

The MeetingPlace conferencing system offered by Cisco Systems,   provides “real time” interaction between students and faculty via telephone and the web. For teleconferences, a toll free number is provided for participants to dial in.

Typically, instructors conduct these teleconferences on Sunday evenings as online students voted those to be the most convenient times. There is a web-conferencing option that instructors use to share documents synchronously, allow live presentations by students, or use whiteboard features. Recordings of class teleconferences with the instructors are posted on Blackboard. Students, regardless of where they live, can participate live or retrieve an archived teleconference at a later date
