On Campus - International Study Tour

Students at the International Study Tour
The International Study Tour to Germany is undertaken along with the core business classes in the second year of study. The on campus students will visit The University of Applied Science in Landshut, Germany, typically in the month of April. The tour offers students a new window of learning into knowledge and techniques flavored by a country's backgrounds in both academic and corporate environments.

During the 2 week trip, participants will attend class at the University with the students from the University and also participate in seminars on doing business in Europe. Part of the trip will be devoted to visiting local industry, learning first hand how business operates in the host country. This, together with the composite nature of student makeup, brings in a cross-cultural, cohort experience that is unique and bodes well for students towards realizing the work culture in foreign countries. Two days will be free so students may enjoy the different culture on their own.

The international study tour replaced a capstone project and was included at the request of students to place it on par with other executive MBA programs. It has been significant in giving the students an educational, industrial and cultural experience rolled into one. Most costs of the trip are included in the fees.
