The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) recognizes the UT Dallas Bachelor’s in Human Resource Management program as in alignment with its curriculum guidelines.
SHRMSHRM is the leading professional association in human resources. Among its many services, SHRM offers the Certified Professional (CP) exam, confirming for the world an individual’s expertise in human resource management. Note that students who graduate from non-aligned programs must wait 1-2 years after graduation before they can take the exam, but UT Dallas students pursuing their BS in Human Resource Management are eligible to take the SHRM-CP certification exam during their senior year.
To help students majoring in human resource management prepare for the exam, UT Dallas offers the SHRM certification preparation course as an elective. Our students are able to graduate with their degree in HRM and SHRM-CP certification in hand, giving them a significant advantage in the job market.
