Admission and Tuition
Is the GMAT required of all applicants?
The GMAT is requirement of all applications to the Global MBA Online degree program, regardless of work experience, unless applicant holds a JD or PhD, for graduate work in the previous 6 years. UTD does not have a minimum GMAT requirement as admission is based on a portfolio of inputs. The School of Management is looking for a "competitive" score. In 2009, the average GMAT submitted by MBA candidates was 575.
Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) offers the latest version of Test Preparation for the GMAT at no charge. The software includes previously administered GMAT questions and two GMAT computer-adaptive tests driven by the software application used for the actual exam. The software is available for download from www.mba.com.

What is the tuition for the Global MBA Online?
Total tuition and fees depends on several factors, including how many classes you take each semester, whether or not you take summer courses, changing tuition rates, etc. Below is information based on Fall 2009 Guaranteed Tuition rates.
A GMBA student can complete the program in nine semesters, including summers (i.e. beginning Fall 2009 and graduating Summer 2012). These students typically take 2 courses (6 credit hours) each semester. However, because not all courses are 3 credit hours, some semesters will have 5 or 7 credit hours. With this in mind, below are some semester pricing estimates.
** Estimates include the MGT GR Supplemental Designated Tuition Fee that is added to all SOM graduate courses and the Distance Learning Fee that is added to all SOM online courses.
