The online format adds to the educational challenge since classroom interaction is replaced by many discussion postings on the web. “I was overseas for all of my MBA online studies working for a U.S. petroleum company in Indonesia, Vietnam and Algeria. The Global MBA Online program was my life for two and a half years; I will miss it like an old friend. My strongest memories were the early mornings — getting up at 5 a.m. to take tests, reading discussion postings or preparing assignments. Working full time and taking care of children, I was usually too tired to work very late at night. There were great courses; I enjoyed the international courses the most. Internet connections overseas were slow, and my biggest fear was that something would crash during an online exam, but that did not happen.
