The Leadership Center at UTD derives its support from corporate sponsors and foundations which have a keen interest in promoting outstanding ethical leadership. At present, several corporate sponsors have joined the McDermott Foundation in providing initial support for the center:

Corporate sponsors are important partners and collaborators with the center and its faculty.

• Through an advisory board, corporate sponsors provide insight and guidance into the design and selection of programs
• Sponsor companies represent a rich source of outside speakers, panelists and executives-in-residence as a key part of our collaborative approach
• Each sponsor receives special pricing in our various offerings and also has preferred attendance at Excellence in Leadership Speakers Program events

In 2005, Wachovia became the sole sponsor of the Excellence in Leadership Speaker Series.
