Charles and Nancy Davidson Distinguished Professorships and Ashbel Smith Scholars announced:

ISOM Faculty members Dr.Vijay Mookerjee and Dr. Suresh Sethi promoted to Charles and Nancy Davidson Distinguished Professorships. Dr. Varghese Jacob, Dr. Sumit Sarkar, Dr. Kathryn Stecke and Dr. Sriskandarajah Chelliah announced as Ashbel Smith Professors.

The largest of UTD’s seven schools, the School of Management, finally has a place to call home – a 204,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art, $38-million new building.

In today's world, information systems and operations management represent the underpinning of every organization. The Information Systems and Operations Management (ISOM) area offers courses to meet the growing demand for graduates with the ability to understand technology and operations and how they can simultaneously impact the performance of organizations. The ISOM curriculum provides graduates with quantitative analytical skills and a strong business foundation.
