Information Systems
The Information Systems Program covers a wide cross-section of areas that are crucial for businesses as they leverage the internet and other information technologies. The research conducted is often interdisciplinary in nature and is characterized by strong analytical modeling of new and emerging issues in information technology creation and management. Faculty research interests include data and knowledge management; data warehousing and data mining; decision support systems; impact of information technology on organizations; information acquisition; information economics; intelligent systems; software development and maintenance; and telecommunications.
Several School of Management faculty members serve on advisory and editorial boards of major academic journals and have chaired premier conferences in information systems.
