Greetings from Texas
We look forward to seeing you at The University of Texas at Dallas for this year's 16th Annual PMBA Conference. Our conference co-chairs, Assistant Deans Monica Powell and Doug Eckel, have put significant thought into this two-day program, setting up an event that we all think you will find informative, engaging and even a little fun. We're hoping you will leave Dallas feeling good about what you already do well, challenged to improve your programs and practices that might not be "quite there" and refreshed by meeting others who confront the same issues you do.
As you know, the annual PMBA conference began in 1994 when deans from the Kellstadt School (DePaul University), the Stern School (New York University) and the Robinson School (Georgia State University) created a forum that specifically addressed the issues of part-time MBA programs. Over the years, this has become the premier event for thought leadership in the part-time MBA field. And as an added bonus there is no registration fee. It was a decision those early organizers made that allows this to remain an event within the budgetary reach of all.
The School of Management at UT Dallas will serve as headquarters for the event, but you will have an opportunity to visit at least two interesting venues – one you will decide upon yourself for the Wednesday evening "supper clubs" and the other is the Frontiers of Flight Museum near Love Field in Dallas.
Again, we look forward to meeting you in October.
Sincerely,
Hasan Pirkul
