Student Committees
Current students have the opportunity to become actively involved in the Full-Time MBA Student Association. The association has five working committees, including:
-
Leadership and Ethics Committee upholds the integrity of the entire full-time MBA student body. Student representatives discuss ethical issues that affect the student body and recommend action. Elected senators serve on this committee.
-
Social Committee organizes social events for full-time MBA students to foster camaraderie and interaction in a non-business environment. This committee is also responsible for organizing monthly last Friday full-time MBA Nights and the annual "Spring Fling," a full-time MBA program alumni reunion event held on the first Saturday in April. The committee is also in charge of updating the full-time MBA alumni information.
-
Service Outreach Committee instills a spirit of social responsibility and community service among the full-time students by engaging in various service and community events.
-
Business Outreach Committee interacts with and creates value for local area small businesses by assessing their business development needs and providing resources and solutions.
-
Newsletter Committee publishes the Chronicles, the full-time MBA program's semi-annual newsletter. Tasks include writing articles, layout, editing and posting on the organization's web site.
