4th Annual
Project Management Symposium
University of Texas at Dallas
Aug. 12-13, 2010

This two-day event will include speakers from some of the most dynamic organizations in North Texas. Topics will cover project management issues facing medical and healthcare organizations, the telecom industry and more, governance issues and emerging trends in project management, global issues, new product development and more.

Call for Papers

A Call for Papers has been issued for the 4th Annual UT Dallas Project Management Symposium, to be held August 12-13, 2010 at the University of Texas at Dallas, in the School of Management, Richardson Texas.  The conference is being sponsored by the Graduate Program in Project Management at the University of Texas at Dallas, in cooperation with PMForum and the PMI Dallas Chapter.  The 2 Day Project Management Symposium will focus on topics important to organizations, industries and the economy of North Texas.

Deadlines

  • Abstracts with Bio and Photo Due February 26, 2010.
  • Papers to be selected by April 9, 2010.
  • E-mail abstract, bio and photo to pmsymposium@utdallas.edu.

Abstract Submission Guidelines

  • Papers should not have been previously published.
  • Papers and presentations should be free of commercial sales content.
  • Papers and presentations should focus on the subject of the title, and provide new contributions to the topic.
  • The length of the abstract should be between 150 and 250 words.
  • Abstracts shall be typed in 12pt Times New Roman font in the MS Office Word format, 2003 or 2007 versions.
  • Each abstract must have a lead author who will serve as the primary contact for all correspondence.
  • Length of the final paper should be between 1000 to 2000 words in length.

10 PDUs earned for presenting a paper. Additional PDUs can be earned for attending at the symposium.
