Business & Company Resource Center

Business & Company Resource Center – Provides current business, company, and industry content including: periodical articles, press releases, corporate structures, financials and earning estimates, investment reports, and company histories. Sources include Market Share Reporter, Ward’s Business Directory of U.S. and Private Companies, and other authoritative industry databases. Companies can be searched by name, ticker symbol, SIC/NAICS code, product/brand name or location.

From the library’s web page www.utdallas.edu/library select “Finding Articles (Databases)” from the Resources list. Click on B-C and select Business & Company Resource Center from the list.

Business & Company Resource Center is excellent for job searches. Use the Advanced search function to location companies within a specific city or state. Use the drop down arrow to select “Company Profiles/Products”. Type the keyword of the industry you would like to research and use the drop down arrow to select keyword. Type the name of the city in the next box and select City. Type the name of the State in the last box and select State.
