Research Centers
The Information Systems and Operations Management (ISOM) area is home to several School of Management research centers including the Center for Information Technology Management (CITM), the Center for Intelligent Supply Networks (C4ISN) and the International Center for Decision and Risk Analysis (ICDRiA).
CITM is an education and research center that works with organizations, government entities, entrepreneurs, faculty and students to develop business and information technology solutions to specific problems. CITM wraps the business case around new and emerging technologies. The center provides the vehicle that enables research and new technology developed in the UT Dallas School of Management to be accessible to both the public and private sectors.
C4ISN aims to promote university alliances with industry and government through education, research and consultation. The center also strives to advance scientific and operational knowledge in intelligent supply networks for manufacturing and services management and be the knowledge portal for the supply chain community.
ICDRiA provides practitioners with current risk management methodologies, techniques and best practices in various industries. The center aims to promote knowledge exchange between industries to leverage various experiences and methodologies through education, joint projects and consultation. ICDRiA is part of the UT Dallas School of Management and acts as a multidisciplinary, public-private international research center exploring the most challenging problems concerning risks and decisions.
